Dubbing takes its name from the act of duplicating tape.
We take fragments of old films and lost vintage graphics, reconstruct them through silkscreen, and press them onto T-shirts. Then we do it again. And again.
Once something is duplicated, it gets duplicated further by someone else.
Nothing real survives outside of that chain.
We don’t claim to be original.
We just copy — precisely, coldly, relentlessly — until the copy becomes part of someone’s shape.
At the end of the dubbing, there you are.

Dubbingは、ビデオテープを複製する行為から名付けた。
古い映画の断片や、失われたヴィンテージのグラフィックをシルクスクリーンで再構築し、Tシャツという形に焼き付ける。それを、誰かの手に渡るまで繰り返す。
一度複製されたものは、別の誰かによってさらに複製されていく。その連鎖の中にしか、本当のものは残らない。
我々はオリジナルを名乗らない。ただ、正確に、冷たく、複製を続けていくだけだ。コピーがコピーを生み、やがてそれが誰かの輪郭になるまで。
